So I have some exciting news! Over the past few months, myself and two friends have been working on a special project (GlastoCast), and last week we finally launched it!
Miguel, Rob and I met at Glastonbury and have been friends for a few years, mainly keeping in touch via #Twisto on twitter. In late 2018, Miguel hatched a plan to start a Glastonbury podcast, and invited Rob and I to join him. We spent time over December excitedly/excessively planning, getting things in order, and in January we met up to record!

After numerous pub lunch meetings, re-records, re-edits, and a very continuous stream of chatter in our WhatsApp group, we were finally happy with Episode 1 and had everything in place to launch GlastoCast on the 30th January 2019.
With a combined attendance of over 20 Glastos, we wanted to share our knowledge with those who potentially haven’t been before, discuss line up rumours and announcements, and just generally proclaim our love and excitement for our favourite place on Earth.

We were surprised to find no one had yet started podcasting about Glastonbury, as it really is the perfect medium when you have so much to talk about and an ever evolving event!
I’m super proud of our first few episodes which are live now on all major podcasting players (links below!) but we did want to say that none of us have ever done anything like this before, so we’re really open to feedback and suggestions! We really want this to be a collaborative project with and for anyone who loves the festival.

sounds great and how lovely that you met at Glastonbury and stayed in touch.
Oh wow, what a super idea! Best of luck with your project 🙂 I’ve not yet been to Glastonbury, but it’s something on my bucket list, that’s for sure!
What a great idea – I have just discovered pod casts and really enjoy listening
This is such a good idea as you said especially for those who have never been before and may not know what to expect x
My neighbours go there every year and I think they will go there again this year! They love the event .
This is such a cool project for you all to do together. I’ve never been to Glastonbury (or any festival to be honest) but I’m sure this will be a big hot with fans. Mich x
Ha this is fantastic! Well done you all! I absolutely LOVE glastonbury but haven’t been since having children. Definitely again soon though!
