Hallelujah! A new religion for the 21st century has landed in the guise of Oh My God! It’s The Church – their wild underground brand of absolution has taken the UK by storm in advance of debut single PREACHIN’ which is due for release on Good Friday. This bouncy bass-ridden Hip Hop track introduces us into the world of the Right Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson and the lifestytle of a Rock’n’Roll Gangster Preacher.
After a monumental 2018 which saw this all singing, all dancing, party church service traverse the globe, conducting services to a congregation of over 100,000 gleeful sinners, Oh My God! It’s The Church are now bringing their jaw-dropping show to a town near you and releasing their first single and video taken from their debut EP! Nominated as ‘Live Act of the Year’ by the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF), and fresh from saving thousands of souls on festival main stages at Wilderness, Shambala and Bestival in 2018 – the Right Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson and his Hail Marys will be bringing their special brand of absolution on the road for a UK wide tour in Spring 2019.
Each venue will be transformed into a cathedral of music and chaos. The congregation can expect shotgun weddings, sinful sermons, and crazy confessions, all to the sweet sound of the Hail Marys backed by their full live band.
